The CREW tab on a leg. This is also where Joya's compliance checks surface,
so it is worth understanding what it will refuse and what it will let you
override.
Where: open a leg → CREW · Permission: opsManageTripCrew to save
The tab stays empty until the leg has an aircraft, an ADEP and an
STD — it needs all three to know which seats exist and who is legal at that
moment. Until then it says Please select aircraft or Please select ADEP and
STD on this leg.
The list only contains people who are rated for that seat on that aircraft
type at that flight's STD. An empty dropdown almost always means nobody is
rated, not that search is broken. Fix it by adding the rating on the person's
record — see Users → Ratings.
COPY CREW TO copies the crew to other legs — but only legs on the same
aircraft type.
Each row carries a light: green everything checks out · amber something
needs attention · red a breach or an expired qualification.
Any finding stops the first save attempt and shows a panel. What you can do
then depends on the finding.

Expired endorsements, currency, travel documents, airport qualification and
missing journey-log fields. The panel is headed Confirm before saving, and
the SAVE button becomes SAVE IGNORING WARNINGS — press it to proceed.
Aircraft location, crew location, aircraft double-booked, crew time
interference, departure equal to destination, and two legs departing the same
airport are Error by default but an administrator can lower them to Warn in
General settings → Flight editing.
FTL breaches show on the row light and in the FTL card. They are a warning,
not a hard block, on this path — the trip still saves once you accept the
warnings. See FTL.
If your saves silently do nothing: without
opsManageTripCrewthe fields
stay editable and the save reports success, but the crew changes are dropped.
If crew you assigned are not there when you reopen the leg, check that
privilege first.
