Three tabs: General, Flight editing and Dispatch release. A sticky
footer shows whether you have unsaved changes and carries Save changes.
A Bases table — name, time zone and which is the default.
Bases are used by the reports timezone picker. Despite the wording on the
page, they do not currently drive duty-time or scheduling calculations.
The most consequential tab.
Seven rules, each set to Off, Warn or Error:
| Setting | Effect when a rule matches |
|---|---|
| Off | Nothing happens |
| Warn | The save is held, and can be pushed through with SAVE IGNORING WARNINGS |
| Error | The save is refused and cannot be overridden |
This is where an administrator decides, for example, whether an aircraft being
double-booked stops a save or merely warns. See
Assigning crew for how it appears to the user.
A drag-orderable table of Title, Description, Color pattern
(SIMPLE, ARROW_STRIPES, STRIPES, CANCELLED), C1, C2 and a preview.
C2 is only enabled for two-colour patterns.
These colours paint the ops table, both timelines and the crew event calendar.
Where more than one rule matches a flight, the one lowest in the order wins.
Colours are global. They are not per user or per group — a change affects
everyone immediately.
Ops checklist items, flight time limitation, crew qualification, custom delay
codes and the ops sidebar layout.
The release checklist items, the PDF metadata (title, code, revision,
disclaimer, whether to show the logo) and the signing policy — whether a
dispatcher or captain licence is required, whether a rejection reason is
mandatory, and whether a draft is created automatically.
This tab has no tile on the settings hub; reach it through the tab or its URL.
| Symptom | Cause | Fix |
|---|---|---|
| The wrong row is highlighted by a validation error | Errors are matched by position | Reload, correct, and save again |
| A change seems saved but is not there later | The footer clears optimistically | Reload after saving to confirm |
| The delay-code number cannot be edited | That field is read-only | Descriptions only |
| A colour change affected other users | Colours are global | Expected |
