Columns IATA, ICAO, City, Name, Country, Timezone,
Action. The search box covers IATA, ICAO, city, name and country.
Every airport is loaded at once and searching happens in the browser. On a
large catalogue the first load takes a moment; searching afterwards is instant.
The dialog is grouped into: Identity, Location, Timezone,
Operational, Safety, Regulatory & privacy (PPR, slots required,
handling mandatory, free airport, online or training required, whether hours are
private, whether a brief is available) and Contact & notes.
Save becomes available once name, IATA, ICAO, country, city and timezone are
present.
Choosing a timezone fills in the offset from today's date and then leaves
it fixed. For a country that observes daylight saving, an airport saved in
summer keeps the summer offset all year. Check the offset when you create an
airport in a DST zone, and correct it if the season has changed.
