Controls whose names a crew member can see in the crew mobile app. It is a
visibility rule, not a login or invitation screen.
Where: Admin → Crew → Crew access
Each row maps a Crew Position to the Crew Access Positions it may see.
At runtime, any crew member outside the viewer's permitted list is shown in the
app as the literal text "Access Denied" instead of their name.
A position with no rule at all sees "Access Denied" for everyone. If crew
report that all their colleagues' names are hidden, the usual cause is a
missing row for their position — not a broken app.
The rule is bypassed when crew-app validation for access is switched off, or
when the viewer's permission group has App-Schedule set to EDIT.
Add a row for that Crew Position and include the positions it should see.
Rows can be created and deleted. There is no edit — delete the row and
add it again with the right list.
| Symptom | Cause | Fix |
|---|---|---|
| Crew see "Access Denied" everywhere | No rule exists for their position | Add a row for that position |
| A change did not take effect | You added a second row instead of replacing | Delete the old row |
| One crew member sees everything | Their group has App-Schedule = EDIT, which bypasses this | Expected |
